In the darkness, there wasn't much she could distinguish, but if he said he was all right, she'd have to take his word for it. "I have some things at the estate we can use. You can walk without any trouble, right?" she asked, sheathing her blades and glancing around once more. If the guard came down on them, that would be preferable to getting ambushed by more trouble. Aveline could yell her down for being foolish enough to be out cutting down thugs, but at the end of the day, a striping was preferable to getting their throats cut.
