"Yes, I do. I'd be lying if I said otherwise." Individually or as a group, he was wary of them. He had never been given a reason not to be and had been given more than ample reason for terror. Sometimes he still couldn't understand how he had managed to pull past that horrible time and see them as people again. It wasn't a moment of epiphany or anything quick. It was nothing he could point to directly.
