If for nothing else, she'd stand by the Templars on that reason alone; what happened in Ferelden should not - and could not - happen in Kirkwall. The city was too compact, the Circle too close to spare the rest of the city should something go wrong. And if it did, Hawke would lose more than just her home. She would lose her sister, potentially her friends, and possibly even him.

Yes, they had to be ready and she would need to be, too, for as long as Bethany was a part of that damnable Circle. She found herself surprised that she was quick enough to worry for his safety alongside her sister's, a thought she tucked away for later.
